How do I get access to these programs, is a referral needed?

A referral is needed. If you need a referral and don’t have access to a practitioner, reach out to us for support. We will need your Summary of Assessment or Decision Letter(s) which must have a mental health condition listed for a practitioner to refer you, and for us to secure your VAC coverage. Referrals are not provided by Cadence Wellness; it is at the discretion of the practitioner to decide if you are eligible for treatment.

 

Can I bring my cannabis to the facility?

Yes, medical cannabis is permitted on site. We do require you to administer your own cannabis, and you must be following a treatment plan by your prescribing medical clinic to ensure safe administration. There is a designated smoking area, as only ingested cannabis can be administered inside the facility.

 

Can I bring my animal with me while I’m receiving treatment?

If you have a therapy animal or service animal, they are permitted to accompany you during your treatment. This must be disclosed in advance so we can integrate this into your stay.

 

Do you offer outpatient services?

Cadence offers some outpatient services, contact us to learn more about which treatment options are best for you.

 

Will all of my inpatient services be in-person?

​

When accessing inpatient services, all services are conducted in-house, 90% of which are in-person appointments.
