Angel Dupee

Once a stay at home mother of 4, raising children in CFB Petawawa, Angel has not only witnessed and shared in the joys and pride of those who chose to serve their country, she has also witnessed first hand the changes and mental health struggles that can also come along with military life. These struggles show themselves in many different stages and aspects of military life; from directly effecting the serving members, to partners and family members, along with the transitional stage to civilian life that veterans face.

With this first hand knowledge and understanding, Angel founded Military Minds Spouses in 2012, which is a support system for spouses and partners, as well as family members of our military personnel and veterans who live with PTSD. In 2014, Angel made the decision to reenter the school setting in order to gain the education needed to properly help those in need - in  2016, she graduated with Honours from the social service worker program, leading her onto her path towards the start of Cadence, and continuing her work of helping military and first responder families. In 2017, Angel co- founded Cadence Health & Wellness Inc, and was also presented with the Member of Parliaments Medal for Volunteer Service in celebration of Canada's 150th anniversary of Confederation.
